I showed Kiezwege Kunstkerk during the first edition of 'vlak naast' 

vlak naast is a series of exhibitions in dordrecht. Each sequel will take place in another venue somewhere in the city of Dordrecht.
This first edition took place on April 18, 19 and 20, and is a group exhibition with all the artists that will take part in one of the upcoming editions.
Part of the exhibition is an online gallery in which during the period of an exhibition a multiple of the showing artist is sold.

Kiezwege Kunstkerk is a preview of the installation I will make during 'my' edition later this year.
Then I will make a dordrecht-adapted kiezwege, the installation I did during the 'Planet Prozess' exhibition in Berlin last summer.

The installation for this preview is an observation and registration of the four streets surrounding the Kunstkerk. For ten minutes I have been observing and registring all the traffic that passed these four streets. In the space I've stacked wooden beams into a tower, each side represinting one of the four observed streets.
Each colour of the beams representing one certain type of transport.
By stacking the beams in right the exact order as in which the traffic passed the streets, some of the walls are less 'filled-in' as others.
