For the special program NoHolds Barred on the Art Amsterdam 2010 I will show the installation Hardlink.

Hardlink is a sculpture of a QRcode blown-up to such dimensions you are not able to see its typical and practical black-and-white pattern on the top.
A QRcode is a code that can bear a lot of information; with help of a smartphone and the nessecary application you can scan the code and read the additional info.
In this particular case the code refers to a URL on my own website, showing the installation in a 3D animated model.

As the QRcode would normally suggest there is something 'more' to see, this code just refers to its digital image, which in turn refers back to the sculpture, because that is the thing that is on show now!
