Kiezwege drawings is a series of drawings of the installation Kiezwege, I made for the Planet Prozess exhibition in Berlin in the summer of 2007.

For this installation, I have been following passers by the exhibition space, through the district around the space.
At certain designated times, I followed the first person that came by, until this person entered a building, a bus, sat down, or turned around.
I transposed these routes that I walked during these followings, back into the exhibiton space and mapped them out in this installation.

I chalked the map of the disstrict on the floor, and drew the first route right into this map on the floor with a wooden board. The second route was mapped again and stacked up onto the first. Continuing up to the ceiling, 129 persons followed, 129 routes mapped.

In the end a sculpture appeared, of which the final outcome wasn't known until it was finished.

In the series of drawings I drew the installation in an isometric perspective. 129 drawings, in each of them one of the boards is drawn in red.
