Punten en komma's
From the 19th of May until the 19th of June I am participating in the exhibition 'punten en komma's' (dots and commas) at Pictura in Dordrecht.
It is a group exhibition together with Yukihiro Taguchi, Toine Horvers and Joke van Kerkwijk.
The exhibition is part of the serie '1:een' (1:one) in which '1' stands for the objective reality and the 'one' for the subjective, journalistic, artistic reality.
'Punten en komma's' stand for the small interventions in space that actually guide the art and its visitor through space.

I showed two works.
The first is a combination of a projected animation and a series of drawings spawn from the performative installation 'RePositionen' I did in Berlin in March.
The series of 12 were the twelve stages the floor was changed into during the exhibition.
The animation were these same drawings in negative animated to a film, projected on the stucco ceiling at Pictura. The ceiling having a relief featuring the Genius of drauftsmanship, morphed the geometric figures to more organic shapes.
The second work was the series of drawings Flurwege UdK .
